Winches

The winch is the assembly and traction mechanism (ATM) which traction effort is transferred by means of a rope, a chain, a cable from driving. The drive of the winch can be manual, electric, from an internal combustion engine. Intends generally for lifting of loads down, but it is sometimes used also for movement of freight across.

The lifting device (winch) consists of the following main assembly units: a reducer, knot of a drum, a drum support with the bearing (block bearing), the elastic coupling with a brake pulley, the electric motor, the brakes established on a rigid frame of a welded design.

Winches electric differ with traction effort in a rope, rope capacity of a drum, rope navivka speed, the number of reels of a rope, quantity of brakes, electric motor power, overall dimensions, a scope.

Types electric winches:

• Traction and assembly;
• Shunting;
• Mine and skreperny;
• Auxiliary and boring;
• Crane.

Winches are used by production of installation and construction works, installation boring, to a complete set of various construction lifting devices, mast elevators, cranes, on hydroconstructions, installation and loading and unloading works in the conditions of mines, and also to movement of railway cars and tanks.
