Pedigree variety: L2033 / Belyanka
Botanical variety. A variety of Lutescens: the ear is white, hairless, with spinous processes at the top of the ear, the grain is red. The ear is cylindrical, of medium density, with a wax coating. The leaf is green, with a slight wax coating, pubescence is medium. The grain is elongated - ovoid with a long tuft, the groove is medium. The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 31 to 37 g, the grain size is 799 g/l.
biological features. The variety was obtained by combining in one genotype economically valuable traits from durum wheat (from varieties Krasnokutka 10 and Gizik), spelled (Vernal) with positive traits of Saratov varieties of spring soft wheat, including varieties L503 and Belyanka. The variety is mid - season, ripens simultaneously with the standards - Belyanka, Saratovskaya 58 and L503, but earing on average two days later than Saratovskaya 58. Resistance to lodging, shedding and germination of grain is high.
Competitiveness. Due to the high potential of productivity and resistance to a complex of pathogens (leaf rust, powdery mildew, loose smut), the variety is competitive in all areas of cultivation of this crop.
Main merit. The combination of high resistance to leaf rust, powdery mildew with resistance to lodging and pre - harvest sprouting at the level of the Dobrynya variety. At the same time, the variety has consistently high technological qualities of grain.
commercial value. Possesses the raised economic indicators. The collection of high - quality grain from 1 hectare of sowing, depending on the conditions, is 2.2 - 5.0 t/ha.
