Description
Slag
1.1. Slag metallurgical, intended for processing in ESPTs CJSC NSMMZ (further - slag), has to conform to requirements of the present technical requirements.
1.2. Slag has to be delivered in a state, safe for transportation, has to be neutralized from ognevzryvoopasny and radioactive materials.
1.3. Characteristics of slag are presented in table 1.

| 1 Dimensional slag | |
| SHM1 | Fineness of pieces of slag no more than 1000х800х300 mm. Quantity of pieces with the maximum linear size less than 300 mm - no more than 10% of the mass of party. Quantity of pieces of slag with the maximum sizes from 1000 to 1500 mm - no more than 10% of the mass of party. The mass of a piece - no more than 1,5 t. Pieces weighing up to 3 t in quantity - no more than 10% of the mass of party are allowed. Mass fraction of the metal component of slag loaded into the arc steel-smelting furnace (DSP-120) - not less than 85%. The mass of a nonmetallic component of slag (not magnetic slag, fight of refractory materials, rags, wood waste, etc.) which unloading from cars a magnetic washer is impossible, no more than 5%. |
| 2 Oversized slag | |
| SHM2 | Quantity of pieces of slag with the maximum linear size over 1000 mm up to 1500 mm - more than 10% of the mass of party. Quantity of pieces of slag with the maximum linear size over 1500 mm - less than 10% of the mass of party. The mass of a piece - no more than 10 t. Mass fraction of the metal component of slag loaded into DSP-120 - not less than 80%. The mass of a nonmetallic component of slag (not magnetic slag, fight of refractory materials, rags, wood waste, etc.) which unloading from cars a magnetic washer is impossible, no more than 5%. |
