Feldspar

Feldspar, fraction 0.3-0.8 mm.
Field spar - one of the most widespread minerals on Earth, and it is widely used in the industry. One of the most ancient use of feldspar - as a part of clay of which Chinese did porcelain.

The additive of this unpretentious mineral gave to porcelain that magnificent quality which within centuries Europeans could not reach. Feldspar is used at production of pottery, tiles, glasses, separate sealing materials and today.

Field spars are widely used in ceramic industry as plaven, in glass as alyumosoderzhashchy raw materials, as fillers, easy abrasives (for example, in production of toothpastes) and also as raw materials for extraction of rubidium and some other elements impurity which are contained in them. Some kinds of translucent and transparent plagioclases having effect of opalescence or a silvery-bluish and golden irisation are used as ornamental stones in jewelry.
