The Trimble company, represents the new TSC2 controller for work with GPS and the optical Trimble tools, including the latest GPS the R8 system and the S6 tacheometer. Use of the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system allows to use various field software products, for example, Trimble Survey Controller, and also standard applications of Microsoft, such as Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word and Excel. Each TSC2 function is created to make work with the controller it is simpler. The unique design allows to use additional external modules of expansion (GPRS, GPS, Bluetooth, a camera, the scanner, etc.). Use of a cartographical substrate and verification of field data on the high-contrast display provide the maximum productivity of work. Sharing of the full alphabetic and alphabetic keyboard and touch display allows to switch quickly between tasks.
The Bluetooth technology allows not to use connecting cables during the work with GPS receivers 5800 or R8. Internal radio of 2.4 GHz is ideally suited for control of robotic tacheometers, such as Trimble S6. By means of GSM/GPRS of the modem it is possible to carry out connection about the Internet and to send E-mail. Data transmission at office, using Wi-Fi connection, also does not demand connecting cables. In addition you can use access to Wi-Fi hotspota for fast and safe data exchange when you are out of office. The controller has USB and serial port, and data can be transferred to the computer or other TSC2 by means of cable connection or Bluetooth, or using memory cards of CompactFlash or Secure Digital.
