The board of a countdown of time of TOOV-2 is intended for ensuring safe transition by pedestrians of the carriageway due to indication of a waiting time of transition (red color) and remained transition time (green color). Also the board can be used for informing drivers of vehicles on the remained time of allowing or forbidding traffic light signal. The similar device is called sometimes a taymfor. The three-digit two-color indicator of a board has height of figures 200 or 300 of mm and provides a countdown of the remained time in the range from 0 to 9 minutes of 59 seconds with a step 1 second. Non-significant zero are not extinguished. At the bigger waiting time crossed out sections are removed.
If counting of a smaller interval in seconds is required - it is possible to choose a 2-unit board of TOOV-1.
The board can work both in the autonomous mode, and in operated. In the autonomous mode it is connected parallel to traffic light signals according to the 3rd or 4-wire scheme (depending on existence kontroly red and an exit "red uncontrollable" the road controller). In the presence of a green blinking of a board automatically blinks in a step with intersection traffic lights. The board is automatically trained on the previous cycle of work or on two previous adjusted). In the operated mode of a board it is connected to the road controller of the KDU-3 series on the RS-485 interface and displays time calculated by the road controller. In case of external management of the intersection (manual, dispatching, coordinate) the board displays crossed out sections. In comparison with autonomous work the operated mode allows to display a waiting time before inclusion of phase TVP. For KDU-3, KDU-3M controllers, perhaps, it will be required to update an insertion. In KDU-3N, KDU-3S controllers of support TOOV-1M for TVP2 is not present.
The option of delivery of a one-color board is possible.
It is necessary to understand what in the autonomous mode of a board uses frequency of switching of signals of the traffic light therefore cannot correctly work in systems of adaptive management with constantly changing times of phases or in other similar modes!
