The products of rectangular cross section made by method of cold rolling of copper of hot pressing which characteristics conform to the accepted standards are called copper tires of rectangular section.
Electric copper tires happen soft and firm. Firm in turn do of usual (ShMT) and oxygen - free copper (ShMTV), soft (ShMM) – of usual copper M1, Sq. m, M3.
Depending on appointment, tires make several types: flexible, wattled, in isolation and without it, continuous and punched, round section and rectangular, with the rounded - off corners.
They are intended for convenience of installation and dismantle of connections in power plants and distributive cases as easily take the necessary form and facilitate work to experts, giving at the same time an esthetic look to collected products. They can be considered as alternative to wires and power cables as the copper tire has the sizes smaller, than the cable capable to pass current of similar force.
The soft copper tire is used in the space industry, nuclear power and microelectronics, an avia - and shipbuilding, in heating systems or coolings, jewelry, construction and life. Besides use in various devices, transformers copper tires complete electroboards, of them do faltsevy roofs, sheathe facades.
The electrotechnical copper tire is Basic Element of any distributing device or conducting adaptation. They are applied to economy of the electric power at the device of trolley and main buslines. Copper power tires have the bigger capacity and dynamic stability, than the power cable of similar section.
Chemical stability of copper and its low pliability of corrosion allows to keep for years in the conditions of the dry aired warehouse the electric copper tire without any damage.
