The KOMPAKS®-EXPRESS system for express diagnostics of technical condition of wheel and motor blocks of the rolling stock of the railroads

Work of system is based on measurement of parameters of vibration of bearings of the traction engine, a reducer and axle boxes. The cart rises jacks, sensors of vibration fasten in measuring points in the magnetic way. The system provides turning on of the traction electric motor from the operator console, automatic dispersal with simultaneous control and restriction of starting current, maintenance of the set frequency of rotation and power off.

On the monitor quantitative and qualitative characteristics of diagnostic parameters are displayed in a text and graphic look. Formation of assessment of the current technical condition and diagnosis by the built-in expert system happens automatically by results of digital processing of signals from vibration sensors.

The system allows to estimate quickly quality of repair of the MVPS wheel and motor blocks, to reveal the latent defects of bearings and gear wheels of reducers, to predict technical condition of the wheel and motor block for the closest period of operation.
