Description
The rectifying column (the sin. rektifikatsionny columned device) — the cylindrical vertical vessel of constant or variable section equipped with internal warm and mass - exchanged devices and auxiliary knots, intended for division of liquid mixes into fractions each of which contains substances with a close temperature of boiling. The classical column represents the vertical cylinder in which contact devices — plates or nozzles settle down. Respectively, distinguish rectifying columns dish - shaped and nozzle.
