Service conditions

At operation of thyratron in the scheme of the modulator for thyratron ignition on its grid it is recommended to give a positive rectangular impulse with an amplitude not less than 50 in and lasting 2 - 4 ms. The size of resistance of leak and capacity of the dividing condenser have to provide time constant, to the equal 1-2 periods of repetition of impulses.
