Nichrom this generalizing name of a class of alloys on a nickel basis which are intended for resistors and heating elements. Nichrom - groups of the alloys consisting depending on alloy brand, from 55 — 78% of nickel, 15 — 23% of chrome, with additives of manganese, silicon, iron, aluminum.

High thermal stability (to 1300 degrees);
High electric resistance (1-1,1 Ohms • mm/m);
Minimum susceptibility of corrosion;
Kripoustoychivost (at high temperatures it is not deformed);
Resistance to a number of hostile environment.

Nichrom possesses the increased thermal stability, a kripoustoychivost, plasticity and stability of a form. Nichrom is used as a heat resisting (heat-resistant) alloy and chemically resistant alloy in a certain hostile environment.
