Description
Represents the crystals, white till gray color, decaying at 280 — 300 °C, restrictedly water soluble (1 g in 100 g at 20 °C). Sulfanilic acid — internal salt in which the amino group is neutralized by the sulfonic acid rest therefore it does not form salts with mineral acids, but its sulfonate group can be neutralized by alkalis.
