Principle of operation
The principle of operation of the steam generator is based on the conversion of feed water into steam under the influence of heating the secondary winding by electromagnetic induction.
In the steam generator, the main power unit is an inductor, which consists of two parallel - connected 3 - phase power transformers with a common secondary winding (short - circuited coil) in the form of a copper tube coil. When the steam generator is switched on, the high - pressure plunger pump supplies feed water in a finely dispersed state to the secondary winding of the inductor, the walls of which are heated by the current passing through it, formed from the electromagnetic field of the primary winding of the power transformer, which makes it possible to almost instantly convert the feed water into steam.
Also, during the operation of the steam generator, with a decrease in steam consumption by the consumer, the pressure in the common steam pipeline increases and, if the operating steam pressure value set by the operator, the inductor automatically switches to the intermittent (discrete) operation mode, and when the steam extraction stops, it is completely turned off, while not consuming electricity, unlike traditional electric steam generators, which go into standby mode and continue to consume 30 - 35% of electricity from the rated power.
If a smooth power control is installed in the steam generator, then with a decrease in steam consumption by the consumer, steam production and electricity consumption by the steam generator will automatically decrease.
