The compensator — the device allowing to perceive and compensate movements, temperature deformations, vibrations, shifts.

Use of compensators on various types of devices is caused by need to avoid, stabilize, or to minimize emergence of the undesirable factors resulting from influence of the surrounding or carried out environment, and also as a result of operation of the device. Tension in metal, pipeline support and so forth can be such factors.

Omental compensators are intended for compensation of temperature deformations of pipelines of water and steam heating systems, with parameters of water and couple: working pressure to 2,5mpa (25 kgfs/cm2), water temperature to 200C, steam temperature to 300C. Omental compensators unilateral are manufactured for conditional passes of Du from 100 to 1400 mm, and omental compensators bilateral - for Du from 100 to 800 mm. Omental compensators are used at construction of thermal networks in areas with a settlement temperature of external air not below minus 40C. The compensating ability of compensators stuffing varies depending on conditional pass: from 200 to 450 mm - for unilateral compensators and from 400 to 800 mm for bilateral compensators.

Omental compensators are manufactured on a series 4.903-10 release 7 and on a series 5.903-13 release 4
