The principle of operation of the oil collector is based on the adhesion of oil, fat, oil products to the water - repellent surface of its collecting element - a flexible hollow tube made of an elastic polymer closed in a ring. The working part of the tube is lowered into a container where oils or oil products adhere to its surface. At the same time, the skimmer drive ensures continuous movement of the tube, as a result of which it rises up with the adhering substance, passes through the scrapers, where oil is removed from it, and the already cleaned one again goes into the tank. The removed contaminant enters the assembly tank. The assembly capacity may be a barrel or any other tank.
