Design

Structurally, the crane consists of two main units - a bridge (beam) with a hoist moving along it, and trolleys on which it moves along the crane track. Depending on the lifting capacity and span width, the section of the main beam can be different.

Overhead bridge cranes are mounted on the lower supports of the crane runway, which usually consists of I - beams. A crane of this type can be used both indoors (in workshops, warehouses, etc. ) and in open areas under a canopy. The lifting device is mounted on the lower head of the main girder, below the trajectory of the crane movement, which allows using the entire length of the crane - girder, this significantly increases the coverage area of the crane and is convenient when working.
