Description
The raw materials - polyethyleneterephthalate or PETF are the cornerstone of production of plastic PET of a bottle.
On the chemical composition of PETF (polyethyleneterephthalate) is saturated polyair of ethylene glycol and p-phthalic acid. An initial component for receiving PETF are the products which are turning out in the course of oil refining and gas condensate.
On physical properties, PETF - solid substance of flavourless white color. It is strong, rigid and light material, it is not poisonous.

PETF was opened in 1941 by two English chemists and at the beginning of the history was delivered on the market in the form of fibers for the textile industry and a packing film.
PETF has good thermal stability in the range of temperatures from - 40 °C to + 200 °C. Small water absorption causes high stability of properties and the sizes of products. Products from PET, for example PET-bottles, are steady against blow and cracking, and can work at a temperature to + 70 °C. PET is steady against effect of the diluted acids, oils, alcohols, mineral salts and to the majority of organic compounds, except for strong alkalis and some solvents. PETF minimum adsorbs smells and shows properties of a good gas barrier.
