Scheme of preparation of the basis for laying of a rubber tile of Ukrpli

INSTRUCTION FOR LAYING of the RUBBER TILE AND STONE BLOCKS of TM "Ukrplit"

The rubber tile and stone blocks is made various forms and has thickness from 10 to 50 mm.

There are several ways of laying of a rubber tile which depend from:

— the basis on which the rubber tile keeps within -

— thickness of a rubber tile.

1 OPTION: LAYING ON THE FIRM BASIS

(thickness of a tile is up to 30 mm, concrete, asphalt, a tree, etc.)

1. The rubber tile thickness the 10-30th keeps within on the firm basis by gluing to the basis with use of polyurethane binding.
2. The rubber tile keeps within on the majority of the existing types of the bases: concrete, cement and concrete couplers, asphalt and asphalt concrete, coverings from polymeric materials, metal, a tree, etc.
3. The basic requirements to the basis is the plain surface, the basis has to be smooth, pure (removed dust), dry.
4. When planning the bases it is necessary to execute biases of 1-2% for a water drain.
5. For the best agdeziya of a tile with a surface it is recommended to process a primer. As a primer it is possible to use mix polyurethane binding and turpentine (or acetone) in a proportion 1:1. The average consumption of mix of a primer makes 250 gr. Mixes on 1 sq.m.
6. On the basis to put polyurethane binding, to level the pallet or the roller, to densely press a tile. To track that all surface of a tile joined a surface.
7. To watch that polyurethane glue did not get on a tile surface.
8. Time of final hardening of glue depends on temperature rusloviya and humidity. At a temperature of a surface and air above 10 °C it is possible to use the platform with the pasted tile in a day.
9. Average consumption of POLYURETHANE glue — - 500 g on 1 sq.m. of a rubber tile.

2 OPTION: LAYING ON SOIL, CONCRETE

(thickness of a tile is from 30 mm)

The tile, from 30 mm thick (30-50th) keeps within on:

a) the concrete covering, thickness of a concrete layer is not less than 30 mm. Asphalt.

b) on the prepared soil where it is necessary to prepare the loose basis:

sand, sand-cement mix (in the ratio 1:3).

• When laying on a sandy or soil surface of a tile are joined among themselves by connecting plastic plugs. Plugs interfere with tile shift relatively each other during the laying and operation and allow to make laying without special preparation.
• The rubber tile has the relief basis thanks to which it is reliably fixed on the sandy basis.
• When laying a tile on the unsteady basis sandy, soil, etc. it is necessary to establish a border on perimeter of the platform or paths. It is recommended to apply a rubber border.
• When laying on the bulk basis there is a natural drainage. Water, passing through a tile and joints, gets to soil.
• The tile has on four openings from two parties. The tile can be laid by equal ranks or with shift.
• On private platforms laying of a rubber tile on the condensed stamped soil is allowed.
