Dumping trolleys are used only for bulk dry goods in stationary type conveyors. The movement of the dropping trolleys is carried out by a movement mechanism (electric or manual). When using plow ejectors, the load transported along the belt, having reached the ejector, moves along the plow. The manual dump cart includes a switchgear, which, in turn, is a 2 - sided dump box. Such a box is equipped with 2 guide boxes, 2 reflectors and a manually operated damper system.
In most cases, the design of the trolley depends on the design of the conveyor itself and its features. The trolley can move freely to any part of the belt. This type of mechanism has a discharge funnel, convenient for this type of construction. From the funnel, the load can be thrown forward or on both sides of the equipment.
Very often, such carts are installed on special tracks, where they move along rails. The dimensions of the shedding mechanism, its total weight, performance and power level depend on the width of the conveyor belt.
Dropping trolleys create more favorable operating conditions for the conveyor belt, compared to plow unloaders, and have a more complex design and, of course, a higher cost.

At the end discharge of the conveyor, the material is usually dumped onto the receiving tray. When unloading at intermediate points, for example, into bunkers, plow or drum type ejectors are used.
The double - sided plow ejector is simpler in design, but wears the belt more due to the frictional forces between the material and the belt. The drum - type ejector has a frame with running wheels and a movement mechanism, on which deflecting drums and a receiving funnel with two (rarely one) unloading sleeves are mounted.
