RHEOSTATS of EXCITATION of the PBM and MP series
Are intended for voltage regulation of direct current generators and activators of machines of alternating current, rotational speed (above rated) electric motors of a direct current, and also as pure adjustable resistances in different electrical units. Calculation and the choice of types of such regulators is made on special request of the customer.
Type of a climatic modification for rheostats of the MP, RVM-UZ, HLZ, TZ series.
Rheostats of executions of UZ, HLZ, TZ are made according to TU 16-527.072-75, executions of OM4 — according to TU 16-527.184-72, the approved Rules of the Russian Maritime register of shipping.
The rheostats made according to TU 16-527.072-75 are calculated for work in chains of direct and alternating current up to 440 V of the frequency of 50-60 Hz, with degree of protection of IP 21 on GOST14254.
The rheostats made according to TU 16-527.184-72 are intended for operation in ship electric devices and are applied in electric direct current circuits up to 440 V and alternating current up to 660 V with a frequency of 50-60 Hz, degree of protection of IP 11 in accordance with GOST 14254.

Environment is inexplosive, not containing dust in the concentration reducing product parameters in inadmissible limits and also the aggressive gases and vapors destroying metals and isolation.
MAIN TECHNICAL DATA
All rheostats are made with ambient air cooling. Rheostats of the RVM series — 1 mount on the vertical plane, rheostats of the RVM-2, MP series mount on the horizontal plane. From below and on top a rheostat it is necessary to leave a free space for access of the cooling air.
Degree of protection of rheostats of the RVM, MP series — IP20.
Rheostats of the same type have different options of breakdown of resistance on steps depending on the required resistance and limits of regulation of current.
