Highly radiographic technical RT1 film sensitivity is not less than 25 reciprocal X - rays intended for radiographic inspection of pipes of large diameter oil and gas pipelines, components and assemblies, the molded articles of large thickness, concrete and heavy structures by transillumination using X - ray, gamma - radiation and bremsstrahlung electron accelerators.

Polyethylene terephthalate base dyed in bulk blue thickness of 175 ± 10 microns to TU 6 - 41 - 1576 - 93.

Packaging

As the light - shielding packaging material is applied and a liquid - impervious plastic bag, inert to photographic layers. Each sheet of film is laid on both sides of the white paper.

Storage

Unexposed film must be stored in the consumer packaging on racks in a ventilated room at a temperature of from 140C to 220C and a relative humidity of 50% to 70% , which should not penetrate the film harmful gases. It is not allowed the film deposited on the premises where the radioactive substances and luminous compositions continuous.

Treatment

RT - 1 film is intended for manual processing.

Unpacking and chemical processing of photographic film must be conducted under safelight illumination produced by the lamp laboratory with 15 - 25 watt electric lamp, shielded protective dark red filter № 107 TU 6 - 43 - 00205133 - 03 - 91.

Recommended for manual processing solutions:

- the developer, "X - 2" and fixer BKF - 2; - in the solutions of chemical reagents "TPT - 301", "X - 2T".

Fixation of not more than 15 m . / (20, 0 ± 2, 0) ° C.
