• Material domestic: steel 65G (State standard specification 9389-75), the alloyed steel 60C2A, 65C2BA, 70C3A, 51HFA (GOST 14963, GOST 14959)
• Material foreign: corrosion-proof and steel wire (EN 10270), AISI 302/304
• Alloys: high-temperature and corrosion-resistant alloys (see the table "High-temperature and Corrosion-resistant Alloys")

Application of springs of stretching

Springs of stretching are made of a wire with a diameter of 0,20 - 8,00 mm, with a diameter more than 10,00 mm is more rare. Springs of stretching with a diameter of wire of 19,00 - 20,00 mm make for pantographs of electric locomotives, devices of raising of wings at combines, agricultural cars. Springs of stretching of small and average diameters find very broad application in various mechanisms.
