PVA Construction glue 10 l

Purpose: PVA construction glue is used for gluing paper, cardboard, as well as for adding to building mixtures as an additional binder and plasticizer during repair and construction work. For more demanding work we recommend "PVA universal" and "PVA furniture suite".

Method of application: The surface to be bonded must be dry and clean. Stir the glue, apply to one of the surfaces to be glued, connect to the other and slightly press them. Drying time 1 hour, complete drying - 24 hours at a temperature (20 ± 2) ° С and relative humidity (70 ± 10)% . Wash tools, containers, stains with warm water and soap until the glue dries.

Consumption: Depending on the type of surface, the consumption of glue is 200 - 500 g / m2. sq.

Proposed procedure for working with PVA glue

1. Clean the surfaces to be treated from dust and dirt, degrease if necessary. The moisture content of the glued surfaces should be no more than 4% . Stir the glue thoroughly before use.
2. To work on porous materials (aerated gypsum, foam concrete, sand concrete), it is required to prime the surface with an aqueous solution of glue in a ratio of 3: 2. Dry. When working on smooth surfaces previously painted with oil or water - dispersion paints, hard sanding or continuous filling of the surface with the addition of PVA glue to the putty in a ratio of 3: 1. Dry.
3. When gluing:
- pile carpets, linoleum, PVC tiles with a backing, parquet, glue should be applied to the floor surface, carefully press the material to be glued and left to dry (preferably under load);
- construction cloths and bandages - apply glue to the area to be glued (crack, joint, rust), attach the cloth (bandage), press and smooth the surface of the cloth (bandage) with a hard brush;
- wallpaper, film materials with underlay, glass wallpaper, light ceiling panels - adhesive for priming walls and ceilings can be diluted with water in a ratio of 3: 0.5,
- wall panels, decorative elements, wood panels, drywall, chipboard panels; - the glue can be diluted with water in a ratio of 3: 1;
- Use fiberboard, plywood and glue for office work without dilution;
- facing ceramic tiles - the ratio in the mixture: glue / cement / sand / water - should be 1: 3: 6: 3, respectively.
4. The glue is conveniently applied to the floor surface with a wide - notched trowel providing a layer thickness of 0.7 - 0.8 mm (linoleum), 0.6 - 0.7 mm (pile carpets) and up to 3 mm including filler (ceramic tiles) , and on the walls and ceiling with a wide paint brush or roller and shade well.
5. When gluing wallpaper, apply diluted glue with a brush or roller to the back of the wallpaper; it is not recommended to apply glue to the walls during final gluing.
6. When gluing wooden objects and structures, cardboard, etc. , and during office work, apply the glue in a thin layer, press the glue joint tightly for 1 minute and, if possible, leave it under load until completely dry.
7. Leave the glued surfaces unused for 24 hours from the moment of gluing. The final maximum bond strength occurs after 24 - 32 hours, depending on the thickness of the adhesive layer.
