Potassium sulfate (potassium sulfate)

The main consumer of potassium sulfate — agriculture. Potassium sulfate is valuable non-chlorine fertilizer. Efficiency of potassium sulfate is better shown on soddy podzolic soils of particle size distribution and peat soils poor in potassium. On chernozem soils it is applied usually under cultures which acquire a lot of potassium and sodium (sugar beet, subsun-fish, fruit, to root crops, vegetables). On chestnut and gray soils use depending on type of culture, technology of cultivation and content of potassium in the soil. Potassium sulfate influences the size of harvest and its quality much more effectively if to apply it in complex with nitrogen and phosphoric fertilizers. On acid soils effect of potassium sulfate increases against lime use.
