Potassium hydroxide is used for the production of fertilizers, synthetic rubber, electrolytes for batteries, reagents, xanthates, salts of plastics, in the chemical industry for the production of various organic and inorganic compounds in the production of biodiesel as a catalyst in the medical industry and in other industries .
