Polyurethane hydrocyclones

EUROGOMMA manufactures a number of models of polyurethane hydrocyclones that differ in purpose and performance. The hydrocyclones are made of high quality polyurethane elastomer, which guarantees a longer life compared to hydrocyclones lined with steel, rubber or cast stone.

EUROGOMMA polyurethane hydrocyclones have the following advantages:

• Reduced cost by eliminating the need for a steel structure;
• The risk of corrosion is excluded;
• No need for internal lining to protect against abrasion;
• Quick and easy replacement of any part of the hydrocyclone;
• Easy maintenance due to the low weight of each part;
• Modular connection of all elements and easy replacement of individual parts.

The following EUROGOMMA hydrocyclones are available: EuroCyc50 (sand separation, 35 - 40 microns) EuroCyc4 (fine cleaning, 15 - 20 microns)

Polyurethane hydrocyclone EuroCyc50 (EuroCyc50)

Modular system of polyurethane hydrocyclones EuroCyc50 is intended for separation of dissimilar materials in liquid media. Hydrocyclones EuroCyc50 are used for dewatering in sand extraction, as well as sand separators in a sand removal unit, which are used in the drilling of tunnels and wells for cleaning drilling mud.

Features of EuroCyc50:

• Due to the low weight of each cyclone, the installation of the series is up to 10 - 15 pcs. does not require a special reinforced structure;
• EuroCyc50 has a standard sanding pad and can be additionally equipped with a special element (so called "duck beak") to increase the efficiency of dewatering;
• The inner diameter of the sand packing is set depending on the technological process and varies from 25 to 40 mm.

Such hydrocyclones in the composition of the sand separator can be supplemented with polyurethane screens for final dewatering and polyurethane spare parts for slurry pumps manufactured by our company.

Polyurethane hydrocyclone EuroCyc4 (EuroCyc4)

EuroCyc4 is a 4 '' (102 mm) diameter polyurethane hydrocyclone designed for fine cleaning (15 - 20 microns). Most suitable for use on slurries and low density drilling fluids. The hydrocyclone has a flange connection.

Features of EuroCyc4:

• Can be used as a stand - alone unit or as part of a hydrocyclone battery;

• Can also be used to separate larger particles (see download). Supplied with a set of sand nozzles with a different outlet diameter, which allows you to adjust the size of the separated particles and productivity;

• Consists of only 4 parts.

On request, it is possible to manufacture hydrocyclones of other standard sizes, as well as spare parts and components made of polyurethane or lined with polyurethane: sand nozzles, drain nozzles, receiving chambers, coils.
