Plates of coverings of roads

Plates road are widely used for a construction of roads and other engineering constructions. Plates road are made of reinforced concrete therefore the coverings which are carried out by road plates differ with the high durability and resistance to attrition. They are more durable in comparison with asphalt. It allows to create wearproof travelers is often expensive in places of intense dynamic and static loadings.

Thanks to a collapsible design, conveniences and speeds of installation, road plates often apply to construction of temporary drives (for example, on building sites, at the organization of temporary detours) with the subsequent demontazhy and a reuse of road plates on the new place.

Plates road are characterized:

• high strength characteristics;
• durability;
• resistance to climatic and mechanical influences;
• available cost.

Types of road plates and their marking:

If plates intend for a covering of constant roads, in brand of a plate there has to be figure 1 (1P). The plates marked as 2P have to be used for construction of temporary roads.

On operational properties road plates are divided into the following types:

• 2P 30-18.30 – the temporary road, loading to 30 tons at a temperature up to -40 °C;
• PDP 3kh 1,5 the universal plate suitable for laying on temporary and constant roads. Two options of loading depending on cement brand (10 and 30 tons);
• 1P30-18.30 – the constant road, loading to 30 tons at a temperature up to -40 °C;
• Are applied by PR-3 to strengthening of the coastline, are steady against low temperatures;
• 2P 60-20.8 for construction of temporary roads;
• PDN – a special plate with a strong framework for laying of roads in difficult conditions. It is steady against temperature – 55 °C;
• PAGE-14 an airfield plate, is steady against loading of 75 tons at a temperature – 35 °C;
• PAGE-18 is used at construction of a take-off cloth.

It is necessary to notice that undoubted advantage of a plate before asphalt or other covering is the possibility of fast dismantle of a paving if in it there was a need. Plates road at the same time keep the technical characteristics and can be applied to construction of the road on the new place.
It is very convenient when laying temporary roads to a building site.
