Description

Products: Bearings (inserts) are designed for operation under the action of radial and axial forces acting on the support staff of the compressor bearings.

Plain bearings are divided into two types:

1. The reference
2. The supporting - resistant.

 

1. The support pad is located in the bearing housing and consists of the following parts:

  • steel casing having a horizontal slot and provided with a pouring babbitt (grade B - 83).
  • pillows, which is supported by bearings bore bearing housing
  • sealing half - rings, reducing oil leakage toward the oil seal sliding bearings

2. Musculoskeletal - thrust consists of the following parts:

  • steel casing having a horizontal slot and provided with a pouring babbit
  • bronze pads having a fill babbitovye
  • ring, with holes for bolts which are screwed pads
  • pillows, which he relies on the support of the compressor bearing housing
  • ring segments designed to set the axial position of the insert in the sliding bearing housing.

Design and operation of the supporting portion of the insert similar to the support pad.

Babbit pouring at the housing end supporting - resistant liner intended for perception of minor axial forces from rotor shaft end, which occur only when starting and stopping the compressor when it is operating on the exhaust to the atmosphere and when the supercharging pressure is practically absent.

The axial force on the thrust of the rotor disk is seen working the pads. Each pad is supported on a ring edge offset from the center of its end projection in the direction of rotor rotation. In this way, each strip caster at an angle to the axial end face of the rotor disk and the hydrodynamic oil wedge is formed therebetween, through which an axial thrust force transmitted from the rotor disk and the pads on the thrust bearings.

 

 

Oil from the oil passage in the friction zone is supplied via the sliding bearing housing holes and merges into the bearing housing.
