high durability — physicomechanical indicators at OSB is 2,5 times higher, than at WSP (Wood-shaving Plate) and are approximately same as well as at coniferous plywood;
moisture resistance — material does not collapse and keeps the strength characteristics at stay in water within 1 days (swelling coefficient — about 10%);
ease of processing — plates are without effort cut and drilled, can stick together and be painted with any glues and paints intended for a tree;
the coefficient deduction of fixture is 25% higher than at coniferous plywood and a chipboard;
low level of defects (stratifications, knots and emptiness);
the plate of OSB is not subject to damage by insects.
Application of OSB a covering of walls — plates can be used with all types of external facing coverings;
the removable timbering for concrete works — a plate can be reused as a concrete timbering;
continuous obreshetka of a roof — the good sound absorption and high rigidity, and also ability to maintain considerable snow and wind loadings allow to use OSB as a basis for a soft (bituminous) tile, a concrete tile, a metal tile, slate and other roofing materials;
draft floors — both a continuous flooring, and the bearing logs;
single-layer floors — in easy building constructions of OSB can be used directly as a sexual covering;
dvutavrovy beams — supporting frameworks in interfloor and wall overlappings in wooden housing construction.
