Organic-silicate composition of OC-12-01

Organic - silicate compositions (OSK) — suspensions of finely divided layered silicates and metal oxides in toluene solutions of poliorganosiloksan with branched structure of molecules (in organosilicic varnishes).

Opportunity to act in role not only well - known LKM, but also materials absolutely of other, unique sort (at the same basic structure) has served one of the reasons of introduction of the term "organic - silicate compositions".

Properties

The OSK main components define properties, characteristic of these materials:

• Poliorganosiloksana;
• Silicates;
• Oxides.

Poliorganosiloksana — organosilicon polymers which backbones are constructed of the alternating atoms of silicon and oxygen and organic components are provided by the hydrocarbon radicals connected to silicon)

After evaporation of solvent and hardening organic - silicate compositions form polymeric composite material with poliorganosiloksanovy matrix.

Organic polymers (along with organosilicic) and special additives can be entered into structure of OSK.

Pigments and dyes of the different nature are added to organic - silicate composition when it is required to diversify color scale of material.
