Currently for surrounding environment both with ecological, and from the economic point of view so-called processes of recirculation which happen to natural riches have the big importance. Physical properties and composition of the fulfilled and different contaminated oil products which usually call "oil slimes" can differ depending on from what source they have arrived.
One of the major positions which is the general for all — the content of water and solid impurity of the most different diameters. Often they are capable to form rather resistant, not giving in to stratification, an emulsion. In this regard there is a difficulty of process of division, in a consequence of what the majority of standard methods according to which there is a regeneration of oil slimes, completely with an objective cannot cope.
Earlier such methods of processing of oil slimes as were applied: upholding (rather slow and ineffective process demanding for the implementation of the big areas and expensive chemicals), filtering through a press (at this method the raw materials are separated into two parts — impurity separate from liquid — however at such approach of a problem of utilization of material, and also departments of water remain unresolved), burning (this method is not only expensive action, but also besides at it the valuable hydrocarbon component is irrevocably destroyed.
For today old imperfect methods are still used, but every year are forced out by new, more perfect modern and effective methods.
Today technology progress offers the clearing equipment by means of which there can be a processing of oil slimes. By means of the most modern centrifuges, separators and decanters having acceleration to several thousand g there is possible separation of water and mechanical impurity from the processed oil products after which it is possible to return on the market a hydrocarbon phase for further use. At the same time the separated water can be cleared and returned in reservoirs or to the earth.
The bulk of waste which is made by different mechanical impurity becomes less and it is simpler to prepare it for final utilization according to the established norms.
