The principle of operation of the piglet bucket elevator
The bucket elevator is a continuous vertical transporting device with a working traction body - a chain with dimes.
The head and shoe of the elevator are connected by branch pipes. A chain with nickels is stretched inside the nozzles, which bends around the driving sprocket in the head and the driven sprocket in the shoe. The chain tension is adjusted by tightening the bolts by moving the drive shaft.
The elevator head is equipped with a drive consisting of a geared motor and a chain drive. The rotation of the shaft of the gearmotor is transmitted with deceleration to the sprocket shaft via a chain drive. The chain tension is adjusted by moving the geared motor.
An opening for the oil supply is made in the elevator shoe housing in place.
Oil enters the shoe through the inlet hole, is picked up by the chain with dimes, transported to the head and fed through the discharge hole for further processing.
