Nitric acid pure for the analysis
Nitric acid (HNO3) — strong monobasic acid. Solid nitric acid forms two crystal modifications with monoklinny and rhombic lattices.
Nitric acid mixes up with water in any ratios. In aqueous solutions it almost completely dissociates on ions. Forms with water constant boiling mixture with concentration of 68,4% and tkip120 °C with atmospheric pressure. Two strong hydrates are known: monohydrate (HNO3·H2O) and trihydrate (HNO3·3H2O).
Nitric acid is applied:
in production of mineral fertilizers;
in war industry (smoking — in production of explosive substances, as oxidizer of rocket fuel, diluted — in synthesis of the different substances including poisoning);
extremely seldom in the photo — diluted — acidulation of some tinting solutions [3];
in easel graphics — for etching of printing forms (ofortny boards, tsinkografichesky typographical forms and magnesian cliches).
in production of dyes and drugs (nitroglycerine)
in jewelry — the main way of definition of gold in gold alloy;
