Naplavochny electrodes

The wearproof naplavochny materials developed on the basis of LLC MNPTs LTD Epsilon are made in the form of powder electrodes 400 mm long and with a cross section of 8х3 mm or a similar powder tape. Are intended for an arc naplavka of a wearproof covering on the steel details working in the conditions of intensive abrasive influence. Under the influence of an electric arch in powder furnace charge of these materials reaction of the self-extending high-temperature synthesis (SEHTS) as a result of which firm connections (carbides and borida of d-transitional metals) which remain in the built-up metal are synthesized is initiated, giving it a unique microstructure. Built up threw is a composite with a size of firm phase within 2-10 of micron that is commensurable with a size of particles of an abrasive. It gives the chance to these materials successfully to work in any conditions of abrasive influence. Hardness of the built-up covering makes 63-70 HRC, wear resistance at friction on a monolithic abrasive - at the level of naplavochny materials on the basis of carbide of tungsten (relit).

Except the specified SVS-class materials we release similar powder wearproof naplavochny materials like "сормайт" which can be built up as on steel, and directly on pig-iron details in the arc or gas way. Hardness and wear resistance of the built-up metal at the level of traditional naplavochny electrodes of the T620, T590 type.

For use of a powder tape we developed highly productive naplavochny semiautomatic devices which give the chance to make a naplavka of a wearproof covering with a speed of 1 square decimeter in 1 minute.
