The design of the case cylindrical the MRD motor reducers was developed according to modern methods of design and thoroughly investigated on three-dimensional computer model by means of a method of final elements. At the same time it was succeeded to lose significantly the weight of the case and to create a monolithic full-strength design.
Case details of reducers are made of alpax with the molding method lowered by the content of copper under pressure with a pressforma termostatirovaniye. Thanks to this technology it was succeeded to increase significantly firmness pressform and to provide stable quality of molding. Termostatirovaniye of a pressforma provides the guaranteed directed speed of crystallization of an alloy that is important for formation of good internal structure of casting and a dense foundry crust, especially in places of further machining. At the same time molding process is also followed by pumping out process. Thus, the content of the gases dissolved in fusion significantly decreases, and the structure of casting becomes more dense, uniform and stronger. Cogwheels are made of the high-alloyed steel, the profile of teeths after heat treatment is in addition ground.
Distinctive feature of a new series of reducers [to download the catalog, 2 Mb] are the fact that in the uniform case both two-level, and three-stage transfers are realized. Thanks to a combination of cogwheels it is possible to realize 28 options of the transfer relations from 2,5:1 to 630:1. For each standard size there are three various combinations of cogwheels of an output low-speed step which defines reloading ability of a reducer. On a shaft gear wheel day off of a step napressovyvatsya a wheel of an intermediate step. The gear wheel of an intermediate step on an output shaft of an entrance support napressovyvatsya similarly.
Depending on a standard size exists eight — ten combinations of cogwheels for an intermediate step.
For two-level reducers the entrance support consists of a cover and the entrance shaft of a reducer installed in bearings. The entrance support of three-stage reducers in addition realizes a high-speed entrance step:

For each standard size there are two entrance supports with the different transfer relations. Thus, assembly of any reducer requires three main knots: the case with previously collected output step, a set of cogwheels of an intermediate step, an entrance support with previously established shaft or a high-speed step.
Nodal assembly significantly simplifies production of reducers. All production can be divided into two stages. At the first stage production of the main knots of reducers and their storage is carried out. At the second stage, according to applications of consumers, final assembly and test of reducers is carried out. As a result delivery of reducers is carried out from a warehouse — actually for all nomenclature row, however the sizes of a warehouse are defined only by the main knots of future reducer. Instead of 140 nomenclature positions of ready reducers in a warehouse there are 73 nomenclature positions of knots of a reducer. If to bring into accord the warehouse sizes in terms of money, then at nodal assembly it is possible to ship to two — three times more ready reducers.
Reducers are completed with standard asynchronous electric motors with height of an axis from 56 to 132 mm, and the integrated paws and a removable universal output flange allow to carry out installation of a motorreduktor in any situation. In need of entrance or the output shaft of a reducer can be connected to other mechanisms by means of the coupling.
Historically so it developed that the European reducers have no general standard of connecting and overall dimensions. At the same time traditionally the fashion on cylindrical reducers is set by the German producers. Cylindrical motorreduktor of the MRD series in turn also follow traditions, both their overall and connecting dimensions conform to the SEW EuroDrive and Getriebebau NORD standards.
