Microchannel (microcapillary) structures in LLC TOSS are made by a pulling of single capillary elements with a core of soluble glass from preparations, assembly of elements in a bunch and pullings to given sizes, then sealing of the structure which is brought together from bunches by agglomeration in a flask cover with a high pressure. After agglomeration the block is annealed, cut by a diamond disk on plates of the set thickness and from channels soluble glass is removed. The cover if necessary can be removed. The form of a plate can be round or rectangular. The maximum diameter of a plate without cover of 40 mm, thickness is from 0,6 to 5 mm. Minimum size of the channel ~ 7 microns.
Microchannel plates can be used for registration of large organic molecules and a filtration of ultradisperse biological molecules and nanoparticles. Plates with a size of the channel ~ 15 microns can be used as biosensors and filters of molecules DNA. Perhaps vacuum drawing a metal covering on a porous surface of a plate. At the same time depth of a zapyleniye of channels makes ~ 0,5 diameters of the channel. Similar structures can be used in physical laboratories.
