LLC TOSS makes various one - and much component glass fibers with the set parameters and structure. Outer diameter of fiber is from 100 micron to 250 microns. Long fibers are reeled up on special coils.
LLC TOSS is the producer of photon and crystal (microstructural) optical fibers recognized in the world on the basis of the multicomponent glasses applied in scientific experiments, fundamental metrology, biomedical diagnostics. Such fibers are used also for management of parameters of light impulses, for a spectral filtration of optical radiation, for transfer of powerful radiation in laser technological machines, as elements of fiber or rod lasers. The variety of solvable tasks defines requirements to structure of fibers.
We makes fibers with the continuous core and a cover formed by capillaries with open openings or a continuous cover. For creation of polarizing anisotropy fibers with the core consisting of two or several continuous cores that allows to reach record values of polarizing anisotropy can be used. When using thin cores receiving a superwide supercontinuum, with a width of range more than two octaves, from vacuum ultraviolet to infrared range is possible.
We also make fibers with a hollow air core with a diameter up to 50 microns on the basis of the original technology applicable only to multicomponent glasses. These fibers can be used for transfer of powerful light radiation.
Use in production of the photon and crystal fibers activated by neodymium, erbium and ytterbium of phosphatic and other glasses allows to receive fibers, for elements of solid-state lasers with diode pumping of low and average power.
At the order of fibers with the set optical and other characteristics as the first stage design of the structure of fibers providing achievement of the set characteristics on the basis of original own programs and the choice of suitable optical glass can be carried out.
