Purpose and areas of usage
The method is intended to optimize the microbiological study of bee antlers for the simultaneous detection of enterobacteria and certain genera of fungi - neutrophils in the specimens. Potential users of the development are diagnostic laboratories in determining the microbiological safety of the food additive – flower pollen collected by bees.
Gist of development
The inoculations are incubated at 35 ± 2 °C for 2 days, after which they carry out a specific identification of isolated enterobacteriaceae. Preceding registration of molds and description of their isolates in Petri dishes are carried out for 3 - 4 days. In the future, the crops are incubated at a temperature of 25 °C for another 10 - 12 days or 5 - 7 days at a temperature of 35 °C, after which a final account and generic identification of the colonies of the mushroom are carried out.
Main advantages of development
The proposed method allows to detect conditionally pathogenic gram - negative enterobacteria of 5 rhodium within 1 - 2 days. It facilitates the account of the results and identification of mushrooms due to the formation of medium - diameter colonies with clear cultural features. Ot also allows to save nutrient media during the study of flower pollen collected by bees due to the joint isolation of microbes of various morphological groups.
The proposed method can be used by the Veterinary Medicine Laboratory of Ukraine.
