Metal ring heater (micanite) 315 x 80 mm, 2400 W/400 V

Ring heaters are made from high resistance metal tape wound around a base. The insulating material in this type of clamp heaters is a mica plate with increased thermal insulation. Such cuff electric heaters heat products up to 350 °C. The power value of a standard heater of this type is 4 W/cm2.

The fields of application of electric ring heaters are diverse: they can be installed on extruder barrels, heat plastic material, as well as modern substances such as polymers that require high temperatures. They can also be used when injection molding plastics in injection molding machines, since the process of heat treatment of materials requires increased heating power and significant temperatures.
