"SILAR-U" (BITUREL) is the modern hi-tech insulating material representing two-component cold polimerbitumny mastic.

Appointment

Mastic roofing "SILAR-U" (BITUREL) is intended for the device new and repair of old mastic roofs of all types, including rolled, metal, slate, and also for a waterproofing and anticorrosive protection of various objects and designs, including underground constructions and steel pipelines. Drawing on a wet and rusty surface (without cleaning) without deterioration in adhesion to all types of materials is possible. The paropronitsayema is steady against influence of hostile environment (solutions of acids, alkalis, salts) (prevents inflation of a roof).

Data on application

Putting SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) on the basis prepared according to requirements of SN and P by means of metal, rubber pallets or paint brushes. At a mechanical way of putting SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) use of liquid dispersion by WAGNER devices is possible. At the roof device SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) should be applied in 2 layers. Drawing the second layer should be made after full drying of the first (at a temperature of +20the °C full polymerization occurs in 5-7 days). When gluing rolled materials it is necessary to roll rolled materials a skating rink weighing 80-100 kg.

At the device of a waterproofing of lean concrete (subfoundation) mastic is applied in one layer. At the device of anticorrosive isolation the quantity of layers is defined by the project. Thickness of one layer makes 1,1 mm at an expense of 1,2 kg/m ².

Mastic preparation

SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) consists of two components, its preparation happens just before application. In pure and dry capacity components 1 and 2 concerning 3:7 weight parts are located. Mixing is made by the electromechanical mixer with a rated power of 950 W with a nozzle of factory production (frame or spiral type). Mixing of components at a speed of rotation of a nozzle of the mixer of 400 rpm continues before achievement of homogeneous mass within 5-7 minutes. At air temperature below -5 °C viscosity of components increases therefore mixing is recommended to be carried out in the warm room.

Introduction to mastic of any solvents is inadmissible.

Drawing conditions

Temperature range of putting SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) from -20 °C to +60 °C. Temperature range of operation of a covering SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) from -50 °C to +120 °C, at the same time the predicted durability of a covering makes not less than 15 years.

Time of drying of a covering

Hardening of SILAR-U mastic (BITUREL) depends on ambient temperature. At a temperature of +20 °C drying time to "an otlip of a finger" from a surface makes 7-10 hours. With fall of temperature time of drying increases by 10 °C by 1,5 - 2 times.
