GRADE Lupine of WHITE FODDER
August
The grade is entered in the Register of plant varieties of Ukraine for 2006. It is created by a hybridization method (the line 2101 × the line 2247) with the subsequent individual selection for a precocity sign.
The grade belongs to group early (the vegetative period of 100-105 days) that allows to collect in the conditions of the Forest-steppe and Polesia a harvest of seeds at the end of August without dosushka, can be the predecessor for winter crops. The grade is steady against fusariosis and VZhMK.
Aprobatsionny signs of a grade August: seeds white with a cream shade, roundish, a flower sail light-beechen with a white spot, oars light-beechen, a shuttle white with a blue-black tip, a cup brown-green, leaves green, lantsetny, plants undersized.
The harvest of seeds of a grade is provided generally at the expense of seeds of the central brush and makes 3,9-4,0 t/hectare, grain protein content - 39,9, fat - 11,2%, alkaloids in grain - 0,015%, in green material - 0,009%. The mass of 1000 seeds - 340-350 g.
The grade is recommended for cultivation on grain and green material in zones of the Forest-steppe and Polesia of Ukraine.
