APPOINTMENT
Cables are intended for application in electroheating installations, systems and devices for heating of frozen soil and breeds, concrete, snowmelt from surfaces of roofs and other building and road and bridge constructions, heating of floors, soil in greenhouses, technological pipelines, sidewalks, open ladders and ramps, etc. when using in the temperature range from minus 35 to plus 90 °C.
Type of a climatic modification of the U1 cables in accordance with GOST 15150.

Cables use the electromagnetic field strengthened by effect of proximity and are calculated on a voltage of 220 V of alternating current with a frequency up to 50 Hz.
Cables are made brands:
- KNK-101 - a cable heating coaxial, single-phase with the steel single-wire internal conductor with a diameter of 1,2 mm, with isolation from silanolnosshity polyethylene (PE), with the external conductor in the form of a braid from steel a provolok, with a cover from heatresistant polyvinylchloride (PVC) plastic compound.
- KNK-102 - the same, with a diameter of internal conductor of 1,4 mm;
- KNK-103 - a cable heating coaxial, single-phase with the steel single-wire internal conductor with a diameter of 1,2 mm, with the first isolation from silanolnosshity PE, with the external conductor in the form of a braid from steel a provolok, with the second isolation from silanolnosshity PE, with the shielding braid from steel a provolok, with a cover from heatresistant PVC of plastic compound.
The INTERNAL CONDUCTOR - is made of a steel low-carbonaceous galvanized wire by nominal diameter: 1,2 mm for cables of the KNK-101, KNK-103 brands; 1,4 mm for a KNK-102 brand cable.
ISOLATION - silanolnosshity polyethylene.
The EXTERNAL CONDUCTOR - a braid from steel a provolok diameter 0,15mm. Density of a braid is not less than 85%.
The SECOND INSULATION LAYER - for KNK-103 over the external conductor the second isolation from silanolnosshity PE is imposed.
The SCREEN - for KNK-103opletk from steel a provolok diameter 0,15mm. Density of a braid is not less than 50%.
The COVER - over the external conductor of KNK-101 and KNK-102 and over the shielding braid of KNK-103 is imposed a cover from heatresistant PVC of plastic compound with a nominal thickness of 1,0 mm.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The electric resistance of isolation of cables counted for 1 km of length at +20 °C not less than 10 megohms, at a temperature of +80 °C - not less than 0,5 megohms.
The cable is steady against influence of water and solution of fertilizers, and also against influence of 20% water solution of table salt or 30% solution of Ca (OH) 2 or NaOH alkalis.
The general operating time of a cable under current loading - no more than 20000 h at a temperature on a surface of a cover of +80 °C.
Laying of cables is made at a temperature of air not below -10 °C, bend radius at installation not less than 5 nominal outer diameters of a cable.
The distance between the mounted cables has to be not less than 50 mm.
The food eyeliner to a cable has to be carried out so that to exclude moisture hit. Kabel is exploited at the fixed installation.
Construction length of cables - not less than 130 m, is allowed delivery by lengths not less than 65 m in number of no more than 20% of party.
Average service life of cables - not less than 20 years at the observance of rules of transportation, storage, laying (installation) and operation specified in these specifications. Average service life is estimated from the date of production of a cable.
