Application
Amyl alcohol is used as solvents for different oils, fats, pitches and vosk. They are applied also as extragents of uranium salts and niobium.
Esters of amyl alcohol are solvents, plasticizers of polyvinylchloride and cellulose acetate, in perfumery — fragrant substances, in cookery — as fruit essences.
