The iron vitriol (iron sulfate) is applied to chemical melioration of soils, to pest control of gardens and slugs, destructions of mosses and lichens, fungal dispute; for food of plants, as the catalyst in formation of a chlorophyll (at a lack of iron of a plant get sick hlorozy and leaves lose green coloring). In addition iron is a part of many oxidizing enzymes and plays a large role in breath of plants.
Are most sensitive to a lack of iron — roses, apple - trees, pears, peaches, plums, raspberry, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes. At fruit - trees signs of a shortcoming are stronger grown up right after blooming of leaves. Hloroz quite often causes at the same time underdevelopment of leaves, a weak gain of escapes and incomplete development of fruits, fruits have the increased acidity.
Recommendations about application:
To carry out spraying in the morning or in the evening by means of a usual sprayer at air temperature no more than + 25 °C. Not to apply less than in 4 hours prior to loss of rainfall. Spray plants in the early spring, before blooming of kidneys and in the fall, after falling of leaves, in the presence of mosses and lichens, and also at emergence of the first symptoms of diseases.
