Insulator PS-70

The glass linear suspended insulator PS-70 E (for areas with normal extent of pollution of the atmosphere) is intended for electric isolation and fastening of wires and lightning-protective cables of the air high voltage lines and to the SHOUTING of substations of a high voltage of 6-500 kV.

On high-voltage power lines of a high voltage apply the garlands consisting of the insulators which are consistently connected in the hinged way. The quantity of insulators in a garland is defined by a line tension class, a design of support, insulator type, service conditions. On wooden support at a voltage of 35 kV put two suspended insulators PS in a garland, on metal support — is one-two insulators more. The quantity of suspended insulators PS for VL of 6 — 35 kV is chosen irrespective of height above sea level.
In order to avoid spontaneous unhooking of a garland the core in a groove of a cap is fixed by the lock.

ATTENTION! The letter E in marking of an insulator designates an index of modification of an insulator and indirectly characterizes year of release. Thus the insulators PS-70, PS-70 A, PS-70 B, PS-70 V, PS-70 G, PS-70 D are outdated now and are not issued. The modern name of an insulator - PS-70 E.

Norms of shipment of the insulators PS-70 E:
Lattice: 175 pieces, container of 3 t: 350 pieces, container of 5 t: 875 pieces.

Amount of packing (lattice): 1210х76х1500 mm.

Weight of the 1st packing: 60 kg - an obreshetka + 615 kg - insulators = 675 kg.
