Purpose of the UVM-01 and UVM-03 installations
Are intended for purification of transformer oils of mechanical impurity, acids and water during the filling and operation of oil-filled electric equipment.
The UVM installations provide
- increase of penetrative tension of transformer oil to 70 kV;
- decrease in acidity by 10 times;
- possibility of heating of oil from-10 to +70 degrees.
On power sites of the enterprises having oil-filled electric equipment.
The produced models
- UVM-01 includes the block of centrifugal cleaning and the block of adsorbers;
- UVM-03 includes the block of heating of oil, the block of centrifugal cleaning and the block of adsorbers.
Principle of work of the UVM-01 and UVM-03 installations
Sub-standard oil comes to the heating block (UVM-03 installation) where passes through the filter of rough cleaning and the pump moves in the heater for heating of oil to the set temperature.
From the heating block (and in the UVM-01 installation - directly from a tank) oil comes to the block of centrifugal cleaning for removal of mechanical impurity and not dissolved water. At big initial impurity oil then comes again to initial capacity for repeated circulation via the block of centrifugal cleaning.
The oil which passed centrifugal cleaning moves in the block of adsorbers containing cartridges with zeolite and silica gel.
Efficiency of zeolite with increase in temperature decreases, and silica gel, on the contrary, increases. Temperature of 50 °C is optimum for the UVM installation during the work with adsorbents of both types. For its providing, and also for work during the autumn and winter period the UVM-03 line is completed with the block of heating of the UPM-01 model.
Heating of oil in the block is carried out for one pass through the tank supplied with electric heaters. Adjustment of productivity and intensity of heating for preset values of temperature of oil on an entrance and an exit of the block is provided.
The block can be used as the independent unit for heating and pumping of mineral oils in warehouse and shop conditions.
Block of centrifugal cleaning
As such block in the UVM installation serves one of models of SOG stands which are widely applied in various industries. Purifying oils of mechanical impurity as the 5-micron aviation filter, SOG considerably surpasses it in contaminant capacity and, besides, is capable to delete not dissolved water. Thanks to the SOG stand of the UVM installation can be applied even to cleaning strongly polluted by water and mekhprimesyam of oils, and the resource of adsorbents increases in tens of times.
Efficiency of dehydration depends on installation productivity. With a passport productivity (900l/hour) for one pass of SOG deletes from oil to 80% total (dissolved and emulsion) waters, and the remained water is absorbed by zeolite, providing at the exit the content of water within 10 - 20 g/t.
At big initial impurity of oil carry out preliminary circulating cleaning with the SOG stand, deleting up to 98% of total water, and only then give oil to the block of adsorbers.
At typical initial water content of 100 g/t, a resource of adsorbents it is enough for processing over 200 t of transformer oil.
In the UVM installations the SOG stand carries out also function of the pump, providing passing of oil through adsorbers.
Block of adsorbers
Three adsorbers are filled with the zeolite deleting from oil the dissolved water, others five, the adsorbers connected parallel consistently are filled with the silica gel deleting oxidation products from oil. Filling of all eight adsorbers with zeolite is allowed if installation is applied only to an oil osushka. Except acids, silica gel is capable to absorb as well the dissolved water therefore prepurification of oil with zeolite promotes its longer work.
The most effective and fast is cleaning for one pass when oil after UVM moves in pure capacity. At the same time the penetrative tension of oil at the exit increases several times, depending on installation productivity.
At impossibility of cleaning for one pass apply a circulating method when oil after UVM comes back to initial capacity. In this case the size of penetrative tension of oil in capacity depends on frequency rate of pass of all volume of oil through the line, increasing gradually from a reference value to limit (for the corresponding productivity) at the exit.
For not really polluted oils it is sufficient 2... 3-fold circulation, and for strongly polluted frequency rate of circulation it is necessary to increase to 5... 7.
The combination of centrifugal and adsorptive ways of cleaning provided high efficiency of the UVM installations, flexibility of application and increase in a resource of adsorbents in tens of times that at operation practically excludes need of regeneration of adsorbents.
