Installation for heating bitumen

Installation for heating bitumen Mobile MBU 0. 6 (hereinafter MCU) is designed to melt (heating) particulate bitumen  and sink in the container for further use in the repair and construction and waterproofing operations.

MBU has been specially modified to be able to warm up bitumen powder and crushed roofing material to repair the roof at VIR - technology.

Also in the MBU can be reheated milled roofing material, mastic, resin, a mixture based on bitumen.

Installation for heating and melting MBU0, 6 bitumen is a metal tank with an insulated jacket. The tank is mounted on three pneumatic wheels, which do not damage the roof covering.  

The tank is closed with a lid, which has a gas vent and a tray with a hatch  for loading raw material.

By mid - gear motor cover fastened  with a stirrer in the form of a vertical rod with blades.

The inner walls of the tank are heated tubular curved shape of the inner wall stainless steel tubular electric heaters (TEH).

To install the housing is fixed a metal control box with up and control and protection  equipment and controls.
