The device of the Jasic CUT 100 series is intended for air and plasma cutting of all types of metals and alloys. It is applied to cutting of carbonaceous steel, stainless steel, various alloys of steel, copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. It is made on the basis of modern invertor technology. Thanks to powerful MOSFET transistors and to application of the principle shirotno - pulse modulation (), the straightened network tension (100 Hz) will be transformed to a high-frequency alternating voltage (100 KHZ) which moves on primary winding of the power transformer. Then, on a secondary winding the alternating high-frequency voltage which will be transformed now to constant turns out. Such principle of work allows to use the power transformer considerably of the smaller size that leads to increase in efficiency of the device and reduction of its weight.
For excitement of an arch the built-in oscillator generating a high-voltage, high-frequency impulse of tension is used.
This device differs in stable, reliable and effective work, the small sizes and low noise level in the course of cutting.
