The hook suspension bracket is a component of the winch and serves for suspension of freight to a cargo rope. The hook suspension bracket consists of two lateral cheeks, blocks, traverses and a hook. Cheeks among themselves connect expansion tubes and are pulled together with coupling bolts. Blocks of a holder are installed on an axis which is not movably fixed in lateral cheeks by means of crossbar levels. A hook traverse is established in lateral cheeks too and it is fixed from axial movement by two lock levels; as pins traverses have around pro - points, a traverse can freely turn in openings of lateral cheeks, on a traverse by means of a nut the hook is fixed thanks to what the hook besides rotation around an axis of a shaft can shake still together with traversy that facilitates a strapping of freights.
Hooks are supplied with the spring or self - released latches preventing spontaneous loss of SGZP.
Hooks the loading capacity of 3 t and more have to be established on bearings.

Hook suspension brackets of cranes are distinguished on loading capacity (depending on an operating mode of the load - lifting mechanism), to quantity and an arrangement of blocks. The hook suspension bracket consists of the mobile blocks of a polyspast and hook united traversy and cheeks. Depending on an arrangement traverses, hook suspension brackets are also subdivided on normal and shortened. In a normal suspension bracket of a traverse it is combined with polyspast blocks cheeks, and in shortened — settles down on an axis of blocks of a polyspast. The shortened suspension brackets have only even number of blocks.

In normal suspension brackets of a traverse on which the hook is strengthened connects to an axis of rope sheaves the cheeks made of sheet or strip Art. 3. In the shortened suspension brackets blocks of a polyspast place traverses on the extended pins. The shortened hook suspension bracket allows to carry out lifting of loads on a little big height, but it can be applied only at even frequency rate of a polyspast. For protection from a rope exit from a stream of blocks of a hook suspension bracket, and also blocks of cargo and boom polyspasts the special casings made of sheet steel not less than 3 mm are provided. Casings of hook suspension brackets have cuts for pass of a rope, choose their width and length so that to exclude friction of a rope about a casing.

All crane hook suspension brackets have the similar device:

  • bypass blocks are united by cheeks and traverses with a cargo hook;
  • cheeks are connected by separative tubes and fixing bolts;
  • crossbar levels fix an axis around which there is a rotation of cheeks;
  • in the top part of cheeks pulleys fasten;
  • near the basis of a crane hook suspension bracket it is located a traverse;
  • on a traverse by means of the fixing nut the cargo hook fastens.
