Hives of polyurethane foam are lightweight, have high strength, have a low thermal conductivity. 

Polyurethane foam is an excellent heat insulating and sound insulating material. 10 mm of polyurethane foam on the equivalent thermal conductivity of 100 mm wooden board. Therefore, we can say that a hive of polyurethane foam is a kind of thermos, in which bees in the summer is not hot, not cold in winter, so it does not require additional insulation. A hive of polyurethane foam provides reliable winter even outdoors, family development starts two weeks earlier than in the wooden hive.
